The Engl E630/2 Savage 60 Mark II is a 60W Tube Amplifier Head and a revised version of the legendary Savage Head; which is the ideal heart of a modern rig thanks to its adapted sound and the extensive possibilities for sound shaping. Based on the dynamic and flexible basic character; this amplifier has 4x channels that cover the entire gain spectrum; from crystal clear cleans to juicy crunch and overdrive to massive distortion. The Clean and Crunch I channels share a common tone control; which has 2x switchable mid-bands with Lean and Bold; while the equalizer for the Crunch II and Lead channels has a Tone-Balance control. The Savage 60 Mark II features Engl's typical noise gate; as well as 2x effect paths; Master Volumes and Presence controls; which can be used in conjunction with full MIDI functionality to create extensive sound pre-sets. Finally; 60W of output power from 2x EL34 tubes ensure maximum volume reserves.
