Kemper Profiler Set: PowerRack and Remote – a bundle comprising the rackmount PROFILER PowerRack profiling amplifier with a built-in 600W power amp and the PROFILER Remote foot controller. The PowerRack, in a 3U 19" chassis, packs the same profiling and effects engine found in the rest of the PROFILER line, complemented by a Class-D power amp designed by Denmark's ICEpower, delivering 600W at an 8 Ω load or 300W at 16 Ω. CabDriver mode lets you choose whether the signal drives a classic, unpowered guitar cabinet or a full-range PA system, without losing the character of the amp profile. The PROFILER Remote connects to the PowerRack via a Neutrik etherCON connector, providing a robust stage connection resistant to accidental disconnection.

A built-in 600W power amp that doesn't color the profile

The PowerRack's power section is designed to stay sonically transparent, not layering its own tone onto the amp profile - unlike running the signal through an external tube power amp with its own distinct character. This addresses the challenge of matching a power amp to profiling's core philosophy, where the final sound should reflect the original profile rather than any extra coloration added by the end-of-chain hardware.

A rugged Remote connection over long stage distances

The Neutrik etherCON connector, familiar from professional sound reinforcement gear, provides a mechanically secured link between the PowerRack and the foot controller, cutting the risk of accidental disconnection during movement onstage. Using a powered Ethernet hub, the distance between the rack and the Remote can be extended beyond 100 meters, which matters on large stages where an FOH-side rack sits far from where the musician performs.
