Morphor Echo – fully analog, quad-tap stereo delay built on BBD chips, in a 20HP format.
The module runs four independent 4096-stage BBD chips, each with its own tap output, giving a delay range from 10 ms to 2040 ms on a fully analog signal path with no digital conversion. Beyond the four mono outputs, a stereo mix of the fourth tap and an overall stereo mix of all taps together are also available, for a total of eight output points to patch further into a modular system. Feedback can be phase-inverted or routed through an external feedback input, opening up additional processing of the return signal outside the module.
Four independent outputs for complex spatial textures
Three panning modes - Ping-Pong, Traverse, and Chaos - with an adjustable Spread parameter distribute the taps across the stereo field in different ways, from alternating bounces between channels to randomly placed repeats. That setup builds an elaborate spatial texture from a single delay module, without chaining several separate delay units or adding extra panning on an external mixer.Tempo sync without losing the analog character
Delay time can be set manually with a knob, a tap tempo button, or a clock signal accepting both 1 PPQN and 24 PPQN, letting Echo sync to a sequencer or another tempo source in the system. A low-pass filter tracking mode switch (early/late) lets you choose between a brighter tone and lower noise at long delay times - the classic BBD trade-off, handed here directly to the user instead of buried in a fixed factory setting.KEY FEATURES
