Waves SoundGrid IONIC 24 is the flagship SoundGrid stagebox (24 inputs / 18 outputs), designed for professional live applications with the highest audio quality and full integration into Waves eMotion LV1 systems. Featuring 24 proprietary Waves Signature Preamps based on fully discrete analog circuits, IONIC 24 delivers exceptional headroom, lightning-fast transient response, and extremely low noise floor. Key features include selectable input impedance (Classic 2kΩ / Modern 7kΩ) and optional analog-modeled harmonic enhancement per channel, adding warmth and tube-like character right at the preamp stage.
The stagebox provides 18 crystal-clear line outputs with adjustable levels (+18/+24 dBu), two independent high-power headphone outputs, and stereo AES3 In/Out connectivity. Its rugged 3U rack design with optional redundant power supply makes IONIC 24 road-ready for touring and large installations. Full remote control of preamp parameters (gain, phantom, pad, harmonic enhancement) is available directly from the LV1 mixer via SoundGrid network (1GbE), ensuring ultra-low latency and instant response.
