Shure QLXD4 H51

Shure QLXD4-H51 – single-channel digital wireless receiver in a half-rack chassis, operating in the H51 band (534-598 MHz), sold without a transmitter. The receiver handles 24-bit audio at 48 kHz with AES-256 encryption and digital predictive switching diversity, protecting the signal from dropouts in venues with heavy RF reflection. As part of the QLX-D system it works with both the QLXD2 handheld transmitter and the QLXD1 bodypack, so the capsule or transmission type can be chosen independently of the receiver when expanding a rack with additional channels. The H51 band offers up to 72 MHz of switching bandwidth and 22 compatible channels within a single 8 MHz TV channel.

Frequency coordination across multiple rack channels

Automatic frequency scanning and IR sync deploy a clean channel to the transmitter in seconds, without manually searching the spectrum on each device individually. The Ethernet port links several QLXD4 receivers into one network and coordinates frequencies through Wireless Workbench software, cutting the risk of RF conflicts when several systems run at once in the same building. The internal limiter protects against digital clipping without operator intervention during sudden level spikes onstage.

Channel management without walking to the rack

Integration with the ShurePlus Channels app lets you monitor audio and RF levels, adjust gain across a range of up to 60 dB, and check transmitter battery status directly from an iOS phone or tablet, without needing to walk over to the FOH rack mid-show. A large LCD display along with front-panel audio and RF LED meters make quick status checks possible directly at the unit as well, including in low-light stage conditions.
